Portuguese actor. TRAING: In 2003 Costa graduated in Acting at the theatre school ESTC in Lisbon. THEATRE: Catarina and the Beauty of Killing Fascists (National Theatre, UK and international tours from Festival d’Avignon); other theatre includes: Mona Lisa Show in Lisbon; Orphans at São Luiz Teatro Municipal; and Maráia Quéri for Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, Portugal (as actor and director). AWARDS: Mona Lisa Show – 2009 Globo de Ouro nomination for Best Actor; Orphans – 2018 Portuguese Society of Authors Award for Best Actor; Catarina and the Beauty of Killing Fascists – 2021 Globo de Ouro nomination for Best Actor. OTHER WORK: Beyond his work as actor and stage director, Costa has been developing artistic projects with non-actors and scientific researchers countrywide.
