Arihiro Wada

Born in Kanagawa in 1983. He started his career at a sports reporting company, and then worked for Shochiku Geino, Dentsu, and DLE. During working for DLE, he was involved in a wide range of projects, from financing and committee formation of small ~ medium-sized (several million ~ 200 million yen) Japanese films to production producing work, distribution, and advertising. After leaving DLE, he stayed in Los Angeles for eight months from 2017-18 and wrote a series of essays titled “A Film Producer's Journey to Hollywood" for the movie news site Cinefil. In the series, he interviews local LA companies, movie events, actors, etc. After returning to Japan, he planned, produced, distributed, and promoted films as a freelancer before establishing his own company, Atemo Inc., in 2019.

In addition to the film production and distribution business, Atemo operates the Japan's first membership-based film production matching project "Green-light" from 2020 to 2023. It was called the Japanese version of “The Black List”.

As a producer member of the project, Toho, Toei, Shochiku, Nikkatsu and other major companies, Warner Bros., Gaga, Tokyo Theatre, etc. It was used by many industry professionals belonging to foreign capital and independent distribution companies, TV stations, production companies, video makers, etc.
