McKenzie Jones

McKenzie Jones (16th March 2004) is an Méliès d'Argent nominated writer & director from Manchester, England. He graduated from the University of Salford in 2025 specializing in writing and directing.

His debut short film Void Supervisor screened at festivals all over the world including BIFA and Méliès qualifying festivals such as Grimmfest. It was at Grimmfest that he would be nominated for the Méliès d'Argent for the short.

Alongside this, he has also written & directed the TV pilot The Youth Service which is currently in post-production.

He is due to shoot his second short film currently titled Sanctuary with a estimated release date of late 2026/early 2027. This project will serve as his second project collaborating with actor Jack Berry and will also star Annabelle Hedger in the co-lead role.
