Dulari Islam

Shahnaz Parveen Dulari (born December 11, 1966) is a veteran Bangladeshi film actress celebrated for her extensive career in Dhallywood. Spanning over four decades, she has appeared in an estimated 500 to 800 films, carving out a legendary status as one of the industry's most definitive "lady villains" alongside contemporaries like Rina Khan. Born into a traditional Hindu family in Savar as Alpana Dulari Dey, she later converted to Islam, adopting the name Shahnaz Parveen Dulari. Despite frequently portraying ruthless, aggressive, or commanding negative characters on screen, she is highly regarded within the Bangladeshi media fraternity as a devout and soft-spoken individual heavily involved in community philanthropy and social work.
