Amata Masmalai

Amata Masmalai, nicknamed "Manow," is a Thai actress who made her screen debut in the leading role of Lek in Dream! (2025), a family musical film written and directed by Paul Spurrier. In the film, she plays an orphaned young girl who travels across Thailand in search of a loving family, forming unexpected friendships and discovering the true meaning of home along the way.

Amata's performance received international attention and earned her a nomination for Best Performance in a Debut Feature at the Raindance Film Festival in London. She was also recognized with the Rising Star Award at the AmiCorti International Film Festival in Italy. Dream! went on to screen at numerous international film festivals, winning awards and introducing Amata to audiences worldwide.
