Zaxarias Diamantis

Zaxarias Diamantis is a director, writer and producer based in Cleveland, Ohio. His film journey began in his youth, attending summer film programs at Oberlin College and Capital University. Followed by a brief stint at Cleveland State's Film School, before joining Purple Films and beginning his professional career. He later founded Prodigal Sun Collective, as a way to collaborate with artists in the creative and narrative film spaces. Focusing his work on music videos and narrative shorts/feature films, with an emphasis on taking mundane experiences and turning them into absurd, existential memoirs on every day life. He has worked with artists such as Chelsea Pastel, Corey Grand, Jordan Wong, The Monday Program and Silly Goose. As well as companies and organizations, like Destination Cleveland, Canopy and NEOMed. His work has featured across the nation, earning nominations at Thin Line Festival and Athens Film Festival in 2026. He brings an innovative approach to storytelling, marked by a distinctive visual style that makes each project uniquely compelling.
