A harbor drug bust stakeout inadvertently brings together three mismatched duos: a gung-ho rookie detective paired with a slacker veteran, a green horn desk clerk with a cynical office auntie, and a stuttering wannabe gangster with a gentleman thug. Each harboring their own hidden agendas, they are all waiting for that one jackpot moment to turn their lives around.
